The Greater Cleveland Hockey High School Hockey League was formed in 1970. The purpose of this organization shall be to promote pure, wholesome, amateur hockey among its member schools. In carrying out this objective, the League shall regulate, supervise and administer interscholastic hockey competition among its member schools so that the interscholastic program is an integral factor in the total educational program of the schools. Currently, there are 34 member schools, making the GCHSHL the largest conference in the state of Ohio.
